Instead of paying big money for an expensive smoothie or frapp at your local café, consider making your own. Here’s an easy-to-make recipe for a Chocolate Banana Smoothie that is sure to cool you down and sweeten your day.
Chocolate Banana Smoothie Ingredients
- 1 cup of milk (whole, reduced fat, or skim)
- 1 large banana
- 2 T granulated sugar
- 3 T chocolate syrup
- 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups of ice
How to make your Chocolate Banana Smoothie
Place all ingredients in blender in the order listed above and mix until smooth. We also recommend garnishing your Chocolate Banana Smoothie with a fun straw and extra chocolate syrup on top.
For enhanced flavor, make sure the ice used in your smoothie recipe is made with the best filtered water. WaterTech’s reverse osmosis filtration system, the RO PureMAX II, can reduce or remove most impurities including chlorine taste & odor–making your beverages, ice, soups and everything you make or cook consistently taste better.
It’s no mystery why most restaurants now use reverse osmosis systems for great-tasting water to enhance the flavor of the foods they offer.
